Who are we?

The Office of Community Engaged Learning ( once the Office of Service-Learning) was founded in January of 1995 to support community engaged coursework and experiential learning campus-wide. We maintain partnerships with over 150 non-profit organizations and 150 government offices, and help students engage in global service study abroad activities in 7 developing nations.

The CEL offers many high-impact experiential learning opportunities to students at the University of Missouri, including curriculum-based community engagement, internships, host the Minor in Leadership & Service, and global service study abroad.
