Examples of MU CEL Courses

Service Learning courses at MU combine academic coursework with relevant and impactful service to the community. The goal of service learning is simple: what students learn in the classroom is applied in the community to create engaged and effective servers, and conversely, student activities in the community are integrated into the classroom to transform and enrich learning.

Service Learning is a campus-wide collaboration involving an impressive and diverse group of academic fields.

PLEASE NOTE: Some courses on this list are only offered on a semester specific basis, require arrangement with an instructor, or are not currently offered due to instructor changes. Please confirm the SL designation on MyZou before proceeding with course plan implementation.
