Engaged Learning Library

Community Engaged Learning at Mizzou now offers a new resource to all faculty, staff, students, and community partners.

We house the Engaged Learning Library in the Student Success Center in the Community Engaged Learning Office. All those interested in learning more about engaged learning, service learning, community impact, first-year experiences, improving in classroom engagement, undergrad research, teaching methods and more can check out books from our office.

The purpose of this resource is create easily accessible, continued education for those interested in furthering their knowledge of everything engaged learning. If you are working to implement service learning in your course work, nonprofit site, or just looking to explore, consider checking out a book from our library to help expand your understanding of these high-impact practices.

Our library has a specific focus on implementing methods into higher education, but students and partners are welcome to reserve books as well if they are interested. A select few books are limited to instructor check out only.

Below is the list of readings currently offered. Please click on the link to learn more about the book. Check out and return items Mon-Thu from 9 am – 4 pm by appointment so we have a staff member to let you in. If you wish to reserve a book, please email cel@missouri.edu
